Octenisept wound gel is intended for the treatment of acute skin injuries such as abrasions, cut wounds and mild burns (e.g. also sun-derived ones). In order for the wound to heal as soon as possible, it needs enough moisture. During the healing process, the division and movement of skin cells should not be restricted. The process of healing the wound is best carried out in a humid environment. Consequently, the wound must be protected from infections. The special composition of the octenisept wound gel perfectly moisturizes the wound and forms a protective layer that protects the wound from bacteria. The said protective layer does not allow bacterial agents to enter the wound, having come into contact with the gel, they are killed. Consequently, the octenisept wound gel protects against (new) infections and inflammations. In this way, the gel encourages and even accelerates the natural healing process.
